Welcome to my website

I have been sewing since childhood, starting with dolls' clothes, then my own, making dance costumes and then somehow sliding into making clothes for my friends and then for friends of friends! For several years I had my own haute couture business working from home and shop premises.

In 1992 I began teaching patchwork and quilting at Adult Education classes and at the same time started a City & Guilds Certificate course at Lichfield College - at the conclusion of which I was hooked! I gave up dressmaking in favour of quilting and am still addicted.

My sewing machine is one of my most treasured possessions and I spend as much time as I can designing and making contemporary art quilts and wall panels.

I hope you enjoy looking at the quilts in my gallery.
